Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of UTips (the "Service"), which enables supporters to send voluntary monetary contributions ("tips") and messages to content creators. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Nature of the Service

When you send a tip, you are purchasing a digital service: the secure processing of your contribution and the real-time display of your name and message to the creator. The service is rendered in full at the moment your payment is processed and your message is delivered to the creator's dashboard. Tips are voluntary; you choose the amount.

2. Payments and Fees

Payments are processed by Razorpay, a third-party payment processor. The amount charged is exactly the amount you enter. Creators bear a platform fee and standard payment processing charges on amounts they receive; the applicable fee is always shown before payment. We never store your card or banking details; payment data is handled by the processor under PCI-DSS standards.

Some creators additionally display a direct-UPI QR code. Direct UPI payments go straight from you to the creator, outside the Service — they are not processed, recorded, or alerted by us, and the payment provisions of these Terms do not apply to them.

3. No Refunds, No Chargebacks

All transactions are final and non-refundable, as detailed in our Refund Policy. Initiating a chargeback for a valid transaction is a violation of these Terms and will result in a permanent ban.

4. Content Rules

Messages must not contain hate speech, harassment, sexual content, content promoting gambling or illegal activity, or personal information of others. Messages are screened by automated filters; messages that violate these rules are blocked from display. Blocked messages do not entitle the sender to a refund — the processing service has already been rendered.

5. Creator Responsibilities

Creators are responsible for the accuracy of their account information and for determining and remitting any taxes applicable to amounts they receive. Creators must not use the Service in connection with prohibited content categories.

6. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, pose fraud risk, or jeopardize our relationships with payment partners.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is". We are not liable for downtime or failures of third-party services (payment processors, broadcasting software, hosting providers), nor for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
